Cue Cards
Designed for teaching staff supporting children who find it hard to listen in a group or class. Take a photo of your child doing each rule of good listening to put inside each blank card. This will help them see the target behaviour they need to carry out, and will help you to refocus their attention in class as you can show, rather than tell them what you want them to do.
For children aged 2 – 5 years, these cue cards can be used as a display in nursery or class to show the rules of good listening, The small lanyard cards can also be worn by staff when they work with children to remind them of the listening rules and focus their attention.
